Ken Lien of the Mr. Basketball of Minnesota today released the 20 semifinalists for the 2011 award. The final five will be announced in March during the state tournament, while the winner will be recognized at the Mr. Basketball banquet in April.
The list included three sets of teammates: Chaska's big duo of Ross Travis and Jake White, St. Paul Johnson's quick Estan Tyler and Roosevelt Scott, and Joe Coleman and Marvin Singleton of top-ranked and unbeaten Hopkins.
