Breakdown All-Class All-State Tournament team

Class Name School Notes
A Kevin Noreen MN Transitions Noreen, a Boston College recruit and one of five Mr. Basketball finalists, cemented his status as one of the top players in state history, helping the Wolves in a Class A title. In the finals against Sebeka, Noreen nearly had a triple double (24 points, 15 rebounds, nine blocks).
AA Erik Tengwall New London-Spicer Tengwall was a solid contributor all season long for the Wildcats, helping them win the Class AA state title in both basketball and football. In the hoops championship game against Crosby-Ironton, Tengwall had 16 points.
AA Mark Hoge Crosby-Ironton Hoge made a name for himself at this year's state tournament, leading Crosby-Ironton to the state Class AA finals and leading the Rangers in scoring. He had 81 points in the three games, including 35 in the first-round against Minnehaha Academy.
A Trevor Gruis Ellsworth Gruis, a Mr. Basketball finalist, was a load in the paint all tournament long for Ellsworth, which claimed third place in Class A. In three tournament games, Gruis had three triple doubles, averaging 15 ppg and 15.3 rpg.
AA Cole Olstad Plainview-Elgin-Millville Olstad, a junior, was instrumental in leading the Bulldogs to third place in Class AA. In three tournament games, Olstad had 67 points, including 32 in the third-place victory over Braham (25 in the first half when P-E-M put the game away).
AAA Estan Tyler St. Paul Johnson Tyler was the key to the Governors' unbeaten run through the state, hitting big outside shot after big outside shot. He tallied 20 points (and even added a team-high seven rebounds) in the state title victory over Grand Rapids.
AAA Alec Brown Winona Brown, a big 7-footer, was a load for any Winona opponent. In helping the Winhawks to a third-place finish, Brown had 70 points and 26 rebounds in three games. He teamed with Mark Blacklock to provide nearly all of Winona's offense.
AAAA Joe Coleman Hopkins Coleman, just a junior and the brother of former Gopher Dan Coleman, was the most consistent offensive performer for the best team in Class AAAA, Hopkins. He scored 20-plus points in all three tournament games, showing great explosiveness and touch.
AAAA Alex Hanks St. Cloud Tech Hanks embodies Tech's grittiness and toughness, leading the Tigers past two seeded foes and into the Class AAAA state championship game before finally being downed by Hopkins. Hanks had 62 points in three games, adding 21 rebounds.
AAAA Jordan Jackson Henry Sibley Jackson was a whirling dervish for the Warriors, nearly leading them past Hopkins in the Class AAAA semifinals after his teammates had fouled out. He led the team in scoring in all three games (67 points total), including 26 in the third-place victory over Eden Prairie.
AAAA Marvin Singleton Hopkins Singleton was a beast inside for Hopkins, particularly in the championship game victory over St. Cloud Tech when he had 19 points and 17 rebounds. Strong and physical, Singleton also has great skills. In three games, he posted 56 points and 27 rebounds.
AAA Eric Stark Grand Rapids Stark led surprise finalist Grand Rapids in scoring in all three tournament games, tallying 56 points in total. His fearlessness against overwhelming favorite St. Paul Johnson in the AAA final helped keep the Thunderhawks close.
