Preview

Armstrong and Roseville Tip-Off at 8 in the east gym if the games are running on time…

Armstrong is undefeated at 6-0 thus far and in the past weak they’ve battled past both Totino-Grace and Osseo for one point wins.  The Falcons also crushed three opponents plus beat Rival Cooper by 18 points…The Raiders are also undefeated although they play Stillwater tonight and then play undefeated Armstrong tomorrow.  Roseville has wins over St. Louis Park, Minneapolis Washburn, Mounds View, and White Bear Lake…

Armstrong has been a really balanced scoring team.  Sean Burns is averaging 16.8 a game, Evan Nolan 12.8 a game, and then four others are scoring between eight and ten a contest…Kobe Critchley is producing 18 points, 6.5 assists, and 4.8 rebounds a game.  Jesper Horsted scores 16 a game, Kyler Briggity 13,2, and Mitch Poss 12.8…Armstrong is a top ten ranked team in Class AAAA….

Key Matchup

Kobe Critchley, Roseville vs Jerome Dixon/Tre Tate, Armstrong

Critchley is the Roseville playmaker who makes things so much easier for his teammates plus he scores.  Dixon is a constant pace pusher who will got at Kobe and Tate handles as well.

Prediction

Why Roseville will win:  Critchley is a game control guard who creates shots all over the court.  They take advantage of every possession with ball movement getting quality shots and there are so many shooting weapons to get the ball to.

Why Armstrong will win:  They have a big advantage in Sean Burns being both agile and stronger than most people his age.  Roseville doesn’t have the talented bodies to go against him and the Falcons are more athletic on the wing as well.
