Balanced offensive attack leads White Bear Lake to victory

White Bear Lake led Rogers pretty much the whole way, but Rogers fought back to keep it close, but ultimately fell short 56-50.

Taylor Paulsrud hit back-to-back threes to give the Royals an 8-3 lead oin the early minutes, but White Bear came back by burning the Royals full court pressure defense for layups and free throw opportunities. The Bears Nikki Daul and Alexa Molin also hit a pair of threes to tie it up at 14.

The Bears finally took the lead on a bucket by Adri Perron, and by half-time it was 29-22 White Bear. Molin made another three at the 16:00 mark for the Bears biggest lead at 34-25.

But Rogers fought back on a three by Taylor Anderson and a pair of throws by Marina Nowak to get within 48-47. A Taylor Paulsrud bucket got them within two with :18 remaining. But the Bears were able to answer each time. In the end, an inefficient full court press doomed the Royals.
