Summer Showcase Deadlines

Thank you for your overwhelming support and attendance this summer. We appreciate you making Breakdown Sports USA your choice for your summer high school basketball teams plans.

NOTE: Registration and payment must be received by deadline date to insure your participation in our summer showcases

Rules

  • 20 minute running time halves
  • 1st half last minute stop time
  • 2nd half last two minutes stop time
  • 3 timeouts per game
  • Foul rules same as high school
  • -5 fouls per player
  • -Bonus afer 7 team fouls
  • -Double Bonus after 10 team fouls
  • 1st Overtime - 2 minute stop time
  • 2nd Overtime- Sudden Death
  • 1 Timeout in overtime- NO carryovers

Important Forms

Coaches Checklist

  • Coaches...check out what we need from you before you arrive for the showcases you have signed up for.
  • Insurance Waivers from players.  These MUST be filled out and turned in to the Coaches Check In Table prior to being allowed to play.  Waiver forms can be downloaded from link on this page. 
  • Uniforms with numbers (both light and dark jerseys)
  • Teams to bring their own basketballs...none will be provided.
  • Concessions available.  NO COOLERS ARE ALLOWED
  • Public Admission: $5.00 per adult  / $3.00 per student 
  • Two coaches per team allowed entry...coaches must check in with their team
  • Athletic Trainer will be on duty.  Bring your own training kit and supplies as there will be none available from the trainer or the host schools.  Ice will be provided.
  • Breakdown Photo head shots...varsity teams please see the tournament administrator to have your team pictures taken for the 2010-11 Breakdown Basketball Preview

    • Brackets and Directions

    From time to time we have some teams we do not receive registrations or payment for that indicate they were going to participate.  Only teams that have registrations and payments that we have received are entered.  Our deadlines are important in organizing facilities, referees, staff and out of the respect for the other teams that enter on time so that we may run a quality event for everyone.
