Q and A
Give me a short scouting report on yourself as a player. What are your strengths?
- I am a play maker. I move the puck well and I am strong in the corners. I am a physical player and strong on the puck. Also, I tend to silently lead by actions.
Can you tell us one unusual thing about yourself that others may not know?
- I love to go fishing, boating and just to spend time outdoors. I love Minnesota and spending time on all the lakes. I also enjoy camping and spending time on the rivers catching monsters.
What's the best part of playing high school hockey and why?
- The best part of hockey is hearing the fans roar. When I score, I love it when the fans are loud and it gets really exciting. I enjoy the sport and playing the game with my friends too.
Tell me about the outlook for your team this year. What are the strengths of your team?
- We are going to be a good offensive team with solid goaltending. On the back side we have younger defense with less experience, but overall, I think we will do well this year.
What other activities are you involved in at the high school level?
- I also play lacrosse, however, our high school doesn't offer the sport. I only play hockey at the high school level at this time and have joined weight training.
What type of training do you do in the offseason?
- I train currently with My Edge Hockey. Additionally, I trained with High Performance, and I have a workout regime that I do independently at my gym to increase my strength and agility, in addition to weight training through my high school program.

Every weekday until the official high school sports seasons begin (an unknown date with the current world situation), BREAKDOWN SPORTS will be featuring a spotlight player in each of the seven sports we cover!

- Tuesday: baseball
- Wednesday: girls' volleyball
- Thursday: boys' and girls' basketball
- Friday: boys' and girls' hockey
Each of our spotlight players will have action and posed photos, as well as the Q and A information they provided for this past year's Breakdown book in their respective sport.
