Sean Burns and Armstrong are too much to handle for Roseville

In a fantastic matchup for college coaches and basketball fans alike, Robbinsdale Armstrong and Roseville faced off in the final game for the East Court. Sean Burns banged down low for Armstrong almost immediately, getting 10 points before hitting the bench with a few fouls. Dixon kept things rolling for the Falcons, cashing 3 from outside the arc and totaling 12 in the first half. Kobe Critchley, who is usually known for his distributing, led Roseville with 10 points at the break.

Armstrong opens up the second with a 10-5 run, capped with a Jubie Alade 3-pointer that prompted Roseville to call a timeout. Burns returns to the court and continues scoring down low. Roseville enjoys a surge led by Mitch Poss and Kobe Critchley, and they climb back within five, prompting an Armstrong timeout. Roseville keeps chugging, and a Mitch Poss 3 in the corner gives Roseville a 61-60 edge. Shots are exchanged tightly, making this one exciting right down to the wire. A Burns 3-point play plus two more at the line the next time down puts the Falcons up 74-69 with less than two minutes left, followed by an airball from Critchley. Roseville plays the foul game, but time wanes down and Armstrong wins 81-73.
